Since we’re not really skiers and the weather was pretty bad that day, we just decided to go to Hanazono Ski Resort. It’s basically a one stop place for winter activities. From our hostel. we walked a few steps to the corner road and got on the free shuttle bus that takes you there.
Pension Full Note is a hostel located in the center of Grand Hirafu. It is walking distance to shops and restaurants. From New Chitose Airport, we were dropped off at the Welcome Center. From the Welcome Center, we asked to call the hostel. There was actually a couple that used the phone before us and it turned out they were also calling the same hostel so we didn’t have to call them. Haha. They have free pick up and drop off service which is a really good thing.
We finally arrived at Hokkaido and the snow welcomed us from our Jetstar plane. We arrived at around 1:10 PM. I am really amazed how cheap our tickets were. I got them on sale at roughly around 4,675 each or 1,800 pesos. That’s what made this leg of the trip possible. It’s cheaper than getting on a three hour bus. The flight was okay. It was not something you write about. The passenger behind us was so rowdy. It seems like it was her first time flying. That was the only inconvenience but it was a short one and a half hour flight.
