Since we’re not really skiers and the weather was pretty bad that day, we just decided to go to Hanazono Ski Resort. It’s basically a one stop place for winter activities. From our hostel. we walked a few steps to the corner road and got on the free shuttle bus that takes you there.
Outside is a flurry of activites – mostly ski classes for kids and adults since the hill is not intimidating. Ski lessons were expensive plus you have to rent your gear. I love that Hanazono has this big restaurant where you can just hang out and relax or watch your kid having ski lessons from inside or something like that.
My cousin wanted to go tubing. It’s 2,500 yen per person for 60 minutes and basically anyone can do it except those under 3. She had lots of fun.
