1Of course the first thing you do when in Paris is see the Eiffel Tower. We went to Trocadero which is just opposit the Eiffel Tower and it has the best views of the tower, really great for photos. I’ve bee to Paris a few times but this is my first time at the Trocadero. Subway stop is also: Trocadero on metro line 9 or 6.

2Love this place but it is usually crowded. This is what it looks like on the other side.

We were here in the morning and went back in the evening to see the Eiffel Tower with lights.

3You can actually go down the steps. There’s a park where people mostly take their spot on the grass to see the show.

45Honestly, the light show wasn’t much. I think it blinked for about 5-10 minutes and that was it. It can get a chilly at night so bring a jacket even in the summer. It’s free though and doesn’t cost a thing. This time, we did not go up the Tour Eiffel but if you want to read about my experience going up the tower before, you can read about it here.
