IMG_3749Sanlitun is a hip shopping area in Beijing with lots of world renown brands and restaurants. It’s a fun area to see and shop if you have the money.

IMG_3744 IMG_3746Before going to Sanlitun, we wanted to check out the Acrobatic show but the tickets were expensive so we just decided to skip it.

Subway: Take Line 10 and get off at Tuanjiehu Station through Exit A, and then walk westwards OR Take Line 2, get off at Dongsishitiao Station through Exit A, and walk 100 meters to the east, and then take Bus 113, 115, 406, 416, 431, 701 or 758 to Sanlitun Station.
Bus: Bus 416,115, 431, 113, 701, 758, 406 takes you directly there

We actually got lost from the subway exit. I think we went around asking every person that can understand us.

IMG_3753There are a lot of shops here. It goes further back where designer brands line up the street. We just walked around the front area. We went to McDonald’s to get our much needed snack and wifi.

IMG_3754I got a burger with beef and mashed potato which was kinda weird but it wasn’t too bad.

IMG_3756It’s also very pretty at night. We came home empty handed since we can’t really spend money on branded goods. The Adidas store was really impressive, they had a full Stella McCartney line on one floor and also a Yohji Yamamoto line on one of the top floors so the choices are extensive. They even had a Hollister store. Sigh.
