IMG_8568Cafe Vait is located along Calle de Alacala, halfway in between the Arch at Plaza de la Independencia and the fountain on Plaza de Cibeles. This is their website.

As you enter from the main road, you would see the display of pastries and other yummy goodness.

IMG_8574They have ice cream too!

IMG_8576They have such cool interiors. They have seating outside, on the terrace but we chose to be seated inside by the windows across the bar. It was summer at around noon. We’re Filipinos, we like the AC. Haha.

IMG_8577My aunt bought a bag of what looked like mamon (chiffon) from the Pasteleria.

IMG_8578They also have a menu if you would like a hot plate, a bigger meal or a sandwich.

IMG_8579I wasn’t very hungry so I only ordered beef empanada and pineapple juice.

IMG_8580The empanada was very good! Seasoned just right with the flaky dough. I wish I had taken some to snack on at the hotel. Haha.
