The ruins in Bacolod is probably the most known landmark. It’s actually within city limits and it’s quite close if you’re coming from the city center. It’s located within a subdivision. Operating hours are from 8am to 8pm.
According to this triangular stone. The mansion was owned by Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson built for his wife Maria Braga after her death in 1911. The Mansion is of Italian architecture. In 1942, it was torched by guerrilla fighters and it burned for 3 days.
There’s a cafe across the mansion and a souvenir shop right next to it.
It’s really pretty at sunset.
