Take a Nap Hostel was really quaint and nice. It’s on Silom, near Patpong. :D There’s a BTS and an MRT station about 5-10 minutes walk from the hostel. The owners or workers are really nice and accommodating. You can even borrow books and take them with you in your travels. They have free luggage storage. The rooms are clean. I like the courtyard feel of the hallway. I reserved a room with 3 beds. Their website required a 10% deposit to secure the booking. It was really cool since you can view the rooms and see how large or small it is, how many people it can accommodate, etc.
The next day, we were taking a train to the Poipet border heading to Cambodia. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Hualumphong Train Station. We woke up at 5:20am and our train leaves at 5:50am. We had 10 minutes to change clothes and arrange our luggage to leave at the hostel. They were so nice, letting us go quickly and hailing a Taxi for us. We got there at the station in 5 minutes, got our tickets, bought some snacks and boarded the train. It was a mad rush to say the least but we’re glad we stayed there and made it to our train.
I would really recommend this hostel. It’s clean and homey. You get the value of your money in my opinion.
